Pet recall at Kroger because of Aflatoxin

Aspergillus fungus is where Aflatoxin comes from. Usually the fungus grows in cereal grains, for instance corn. When consumed in large doses, Aflatoxin could be dangerous. It’s found in foods like peanut butter though. When consumed by animals, Aflatoxin can trigger liver illness, which isn’t directly treatable. You will need to return the animal food to the Kroger store if you have any in the recall.
